Large Douglas Wales Abstract Painting
A large abstract oil painting by British artist Douglas Henry Wales ARCA (1933-2019). Thick expressive impasto work on board with simple black painted wooden tray frame. Exhibition label to reverse - Liverpool 1963, work entitled ‘The Sunshine is Killing My Baby’. Provenance; cleared from the artist’s studio, wrapped up since 1966.
