A partnership between Adam Dillon and Hannah Mottishaw, Sauce was founded in 2018 – born of a passion for exploring warmer climes, and collecting antiques that told a story.

With backgrounds in interiors and fashion respectively, Adam and Hannah have combined their extensive knowledge and fine eye for detail to present an online gallery that specialises in furniture, lighting, decorative objects and art – curated with a focus on aesthetic and quality craftmanship.

Sourcing from across Europe, the inventory is stylistically eclectic, with vernacular and primitive utilitarian pieces sitting alongside early 20th century modernism and Art Deco design. Featuring predominantly, but by no means exclusively, items from France, Italy, Spain and Japan, dating from the 17th through to mid-20th century.

“The partners source their stock from all over Europe, and successfully so. With a curated eye, the two put together a selection worth its salt, ranging from 19th century timber chairs to neoclassical floor lamps.” - Vogue

"Bored of the same roll call of mid-century designers and pieces? A visit to Sauce's website always reveals something off-beat and unseen."  - The Modern House

“Adam Dillon and Hannah Mottishaw’s Instagram is perfectly curated.” - Vogue
