A pair of strikingly poised, early 20th century folk-art armchairs from the Alsace region. The seats and backrests in varnished, and now deeply patinated beech timber, with trefoil fretwork designs. The structure of the chairs, including the armrests and legs, dramatically and expertly constructed using antlers.
