EARLY 19TH CENTURY VENETIAN PHARMACY ARCHIVE
A charming early 19th century archive cabinet from a pharmacy in Venice. Constructed from poplar timber and beautifully painted to simulate Siena marble, with contrasting accents in burnt umber. Inscribed in Latin ‘ARCHIVIUM’ (archives), the cabinet has a single, deep drawer above a single door which opens to reveal an open storage compartment within - both with functioning locks and key.
