CERAMIC VASE BY RENÉ BLUET (JEAN BESNARD)
A rare warm-grey glazed terracotta vase of partly ribbed, ovoid form by Jean Besnard (1889-1958), under the pseudonym - René Bluet, signed.
Besnard used this alias in the latter part of his career in order to create more experimental works, without tarnishing the fine reputation he earned during the early 20th century.
