BLACKENED SHÕWA ERA ATELIER TABLE
A Shōwa era former work table from a blacksmith’s atelier near Tokyo. Constructed in the mid-20th century, scratch-built using timber of various types and ages. This utilitarian piece has since been restored and blackened - retaining its character but reimagined as a table well suited to product/retail display.
