17TH CENTURY SPANISH ‘FINCA’ CUPBOARD
A charming, 17th century two-door cupboard in carved, and now heavily patinated, chestnut timber with original forged iron hardware.
Often referred to as a ‘finca’ cupboard (Finca being the Spanish name for a large, country estate), the piece boasts understated decorative carving throughout. Nicely proportioned with two doors, the top opening to reveal two shelves within, with the lower an open storage compartment.
Original lock and key in working order.
